Wildlife safari/Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara National Park covers 330 sq km, between 900 m and 1800 m above sea level and is bordered by the western escarpment of the Great Rift Valley. The alkaline lake which gives the park its name covers about 2/3 of the park's total area.  

The park is famous for tree - climbing Lions, a large Hippo population and Elephants, Buffalos, Zebras and thousands of pink Flamingos, pelicans and Marabou storks, including 400 recored bird species.

Baboons, Ver'vets and blue monkeys including Mongoose and Bushbaby's are amongst many resident primates of Lake Manyara.

The HOT WATER springs at Endabash area adds to another natures wonders waiting to be witnessed in this Rift valley park.  

The park is conveniently located on the road to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and the Serengeti if traveling by car from Moshi / Arusha
